The event will be held on the GlebePool Which will be run through the whole of Natinal Fishing Week.

Saxon Mill Angling Festival Keith Jenner of Warwick and district Angling Society has again organised the only major National fishing Week event for the Warwick Area. Events for "regulars" and for people who just want to come and see what fishing is all about. Spectators welcome at any event. Waters have been donated free of charge for all the events by, Warwick D A S, Leamington Spa AC, and Farringtons AC.

The Yorkshire Carp fishing experience.All the gear is provided:Rod Pod,2 rods, Spod and Marker Rod.bite alarms, chairbed, Bivvy, stove light etc, Rgs, Landing net, scales,Unhooking mat, hold-all, rucksack & Bait. Tuition sessions at all venues. One and two day sessions and a few 3-4 day and night sessions Places must be booked. A weeks holiday in Spain for the best Carp of the festival.
Second day of a three day/two night session, 6 pegs each with 2 rods. There are also3x2 rod demonstration and tuition pegs at Bretton Carp Lakes.

Will stage a "take your Grandad fishing" programme for youngsters during Natinal fishing week.. the youngsters will fish for free on the parent Grandparent ticket(which will be at the concessionary rate) with instruction if necessary, it is expected that local shops will provide some sponsership in the way of prizes etc.

Farham Angling society - Junior open day 10am- 5pm FarnhamAngling Society is holding an open day at Badshot Lea Pond and TS Swiftsure Near Farnham in Line with National fishing Week.
The Day will be Packed with things to do and sea. The Environment agency will be on Hand to give talks on fish care and conservation. the kids will be able to look at the smaller inhabitants of the Lake through microscopes. Farnham Ac will be doing some netting so that fish can be identiied and measured/ weeghed.
Martin Poerter PAA Coach, Carp Anglers and River Anglers will be on hand to give tuition all day.
Angling Projects and second chance will be there, showing all hat they do for junior anglers(all the raffle proceeds will be going to these 2 charities)
there wil also be trade stands. Trefor west and Howard Barkley will be guest speakers. come along and make a day of it. you never know u may get hooked!

Open Day on the River Cam At Cantelupe Farm Grantchester Nr Cambridge.
Environment Agency will be there with their Exhibition Trailer. Ian Cresswell PAA coach is going to be on hand to give tips and lessons on safe fishing.
Lee Valley Lure Anglers Club will be there to give tips and tecniques on safe lure fishing and fish handling.
Raffle and tombola on the day, all proceeds of which are going to the Marie Curie Cancer Charity

fished in 3 sections, 6-9yrs, 10-12yrs, & 13-15yrs. Fishing the final will be to top 6 of each age group decided on a points system from the previose 2 heats. Fishing tackle Maggots and variouse other baits will be provided in limited amounts to anyone without. In addition to the final there will be a disco and buffet at which the prizes and trophies will be presented. to be held at Mirlwyn Lake westwoodside, doncaster.
