Despite the bad weather we suffered everyone who turned up enjoyed themselves.
All the children who turned up in the morning caught fish.
Ian Cresswell PAA coach did stirling work and is a true ambassador for Angling. he managed to transfer his enjoyment of the sport to all the children he saw.
Danny Hyde and the Lea Valley Lure Anglers did a very good job of showing people how to use lures and get the best enjoyment out of the sport.
We also had Barrie Rickards, respected author and Predator Angler with us for most of the day. Barrie is also President of the SAA. He left 2 of his books for the Raffle"sucsess with Pike & Zander
Fishing"
The responce we had for the Raffle from local and national companies was excellent. We had such a good responce we had to hold a Tombola and Pick a Straw competition as well.
We raised over £400 for Marie Curie Canc Care.
